Hey everyone! I'm going into my second year in graduate school. I'm going for my MS in mental health counseling. I have been looking for a 100hr internship site for my practicum, and I have yet to find anything. I'm getting very nervous because I need to have it by Fall 2013. I have called multiple places, emailed, applied and I just keep on getting disappointed. Many don't answer the phone (a common thing, I know) and others just say they bring in interns all at a specific starting month, not lining up when I can actually start for my class. I feel like I'm running out of options as well as hope. I even started looking into sites in Mass (where I go to school) even if it is an hour or so commute. Does anyone have any tips for obtaining an internship? Answers are much appreciated ^_^
