Have you had thyroid bloodwork done? This happened to me when I was hyper-thyroid and I've read a couple other people that had this shaking symptom about every three hours too, when they were hyper-thyroid. One said she had it when hypo-thyroid and my endocrinologist said that generally when your hyper-thyroid your blood sugars are higher. Go figure. Just a thought.
Also, if the tsh, t3 and t4 come back normal and your still symptomatic after a few months, ask to have them re-checked! In the "beginning" my thyroid labs were normal, but I later found out that it won't necessarily show on one set of labs because at first you may put out bursts of thyroid hormone that are quickly resorbed by your body and although you feel like hell, if your levels aren't particularly high at the exact moment the blood is drawn, it will not show. In other words, it takes a while for thyroid hormone levels to maintain a constant high in your bloodstream even if you are symptomatic. Hope that made some kind of sense!
