'Other' is working for me - it's CBT based but only started working after I persuaded my T to drop all the stupid work-sheets, and we moved into much broader psychotherapy. For me, a perfectionist who couldn't accept or even be aware of most of my emotions, stemming from childhood, CBT alone was not deep enough, and just felt like more criticism for not being able to control my thoughts and emotions. Turns out that trying so hard to control my thoughts and emotions was/is causing a large part of my difficulties.

I'm lucky I have a therapist who's willing to try different approaches.
