Yep... we breath in oxygen and have a chemical reaction along with the carbohydrates in foods in our cells that creates energy for us to live on, and in the process they are converted to water and CO2... we breath out the CO2 (and I guess some of the water too)

Plants get their energy from sunlight and are able to convert the CO2 in the air to sugar using the energy from the sun. We of course then eat the plants and that's where we get the sugar to burn with the oxygen we breath.

It's the circle of life.

Pretty darn amazing when you think about it.

I've always thought that talking to or breathing on plants helps them because of the extra CO2. But playing classical music is supposed to help plants grow too. Don't see how that could be, except for corn, since that's the only plant that has ears.

Wonder if anyone has ever tried growing potatoes in a room filled with classic artwork and paintings?

(Oh, I'm just TOO silly tonight...)
