I understand the feeling of 'some mysterious factor' at work in my life that I couldnt understand. Before I was able to reason out all the different influences that make my surroundings into what they are, it seemed to me some dark evil mysterious plot was at work against me personally. Ive slowly unraveled a lot of that and recognized that there are influences at work which can affect individual peoples behaviors and those behaviors in turn influence other peoples actions. It isnt so much an organized conspiracy like I used to think. Its more like one gear turning another gear, turning another gear. We, as individuals, are free to choose our level of involvement in the various activities available to us and in that way have our own part with influencing the environment. Its a lot to unscramble but knowing that you are a part of the whole process gives you a power to influence it in one way or another. The healthiest options arent always the most popularly chosen and thats why we have bullying, etc... imo. Simplified version.
