I was on trileptal back in 2012 for about 5 months or so. I was also on abilify in combonation, with ambien for sleep.
I think that the trileptal works well, it makes you stable, not anywhere or anything. You may even feel nothing. That's how I felt.
So yes, it did it's job, it was effective. Good luck!
