To those of you on Klonopin, did your psychs give you a hard time about taking it or were they resistant because of the addictive properties? I feel like it's the only thing that helps me, but I have only ever been given one rx (a couple months ago) and I was only supposed to take them while waiting for a new med I now take to come in the mail. I've had some bad attacks lately and thank God I still had them. They kept me from going to ER. But, my psych was pretty serious about saying he was only going to give me one rx because of its addictive properties...I don't have an addictive personally, so I could understand restricting/being hesitant with someone that does, but I don't.
I don't want to be thought as a "drug seeker," but God... Would I rather be dependent or feel like crap?
I take lamotrigine (Lamictal), bupropion (Wellbutrin), and Geodon. Not particularly stoked with things presently, but they allow me to get out of bed. I am going to my psych this week to ask about a possible new/corrected diagnosis, though, so this might change very soon.
