OK, an interesting update.

- I logged on to OKC, which is always fun to do because I meet all kinds of really weird people on it. Somehow I found myself answering questions. I am not sure how.

- A question came up about virginity. The question was phrased in gender-neutral terms and asked me if I would be comfortable dating a virgin who is 25 or older (or something along those lines - the important number is 25).

- I then checked on Wikipedia and learned that the questions on OKC are user-submitted (I am sure OKC has an editorial workforce to prune the questions, but they are not advertising that behind-the-scenes part).

- OKC is very big, subscriber-base-wide.

- So what do we learn from this? We learn that there exist enough virgins aged 25 or older for OKC's user base to have come up with this question. Some OKC's questions are about remote subjects, but most are about dating-related concerns. I have not seen questions about naming all the planets in the Solar system. So there is some burning relevance to this question for enough people out there.

- to conclude, you are not alone.
