Anyone out there like to cook? I need your advice, then! I am desperate for a Christmas present for my nephew. He *thinks* he wants to be an English teacher, but he spends all his spare time making elaborate meals for his friends, and every time he comes home he makes elaborate dinners and breads and desserts (on his parents' budget, of course! LOL).

My philosophy is: If it can't be nuked, boiled, or eaten straight out of the package, I don't bother. I don't like to cook, I don't want to learn how, if I could afford it I would eat out a lot more than I do. But something cooking-related is the only thing I can think of for Joe. I just don't know where to start!

His big sister likes to cook too, but I got her a Rachael Ray cookbook because I know that's her favorite. Joe watches whatever comes on Food Network, indiscriminately.
