will your t check in on you? maybe you could see if she would be willing to send you an email, or a quick phone call? that might make you feel better.
if not, what works for me is writing down all the things that i want to tell t, that i think of when she is gone. then i bring that to session. i also make deadlines for myself, like... if i still feel bad in a week, then i will email t. then when the week is up, say, just one more week. etc.
