Welcome to Psych Central. I am very sorry to hear the difficulty that you're having at home with your mother. The ADD/ADHD forum may be especially helpful to you, with knowledgeable tips in helping you get through this tough time. The Relationships forum may be helpful to you as well, seeing as your relationship with your mom especially is strained.

I would recommend talking with a school counselor, and sharing this news with them. You needn't go into your life story, but sharing how you were diagnosed with ADHD and treated with medicine, the counselor can make some changes to your set-up at school to make it easier.

I think that if you were to talk with your doctor's office about these struggles, they would be bound by law to be sure that you're being properly cared for at home. Meaning: your parents are doing all that they can to properly treat your condition.

I wish you the very best at getting your condition to be treated properly, and hopefully getting through to your parents to change their outlook upon the condition & need for ongoing medical treatment. Very gentle hugs to you ~ take care!
