You're a fiber artist too!

So am I! I tried to make a business of it, but couldn't find enough motivation to produce enough stuff to sell, especially when I know I'm not even going to make minimum wage. I'd rather give the things I make to people I care about. I have animals too, and I try to sell some, but I care more about that they go to good homes, and then people want to buy animals and they say, but I don't have all the money - can I make payments? And I say sure, and they don't, so I sell $2000 of animals and get $50 for them, and I let them take them because it would cost me more to feed them. The kicker is when I adversise and someone answers, and then their truck breaks down, so not only do they not have the money, but they would like me to deliver the animals to them usually 6 hours away, and they are doing me a favor because they will give my animals a good home! I'm not a very effective businesswoman either, I'm afraid. Oh, and teaching classes - people ask me to teach a class, and I order materials, and then not enough people take the class to cover what I spent. Yup. I guess I need to look for a more traditional employment situation.
