However, coming from someone who has seen Silver Linings about 50 times since it was released, I do have to say that even that portrayal is a bit off... but that's just me. The female lead in the movie seems more accurate to Bipolar. The more I watch it the more I think Bradley Cooper's character is more BPD than Bipolar. Still a good movie.

I fully agree with your assessment of Jennifer Lawrence in that movie.. And, ironically, Jennifer Lawrence was supposed to be the one with BPD.
I think it would have been better if they had actually showed Bradley Cooper's character dealing with psychosis. He talked about it a little. It was something about his wife and her lover embezzeling money to frame him or something.
The best "bipolar" moment in that whole movie is when he wakes his parents up in the middle of the night to rant about the Hemingway book he was reading. That's totally up my alley.
