I have the opposite problem. When I have PMS my husband is a jerk, my kids are rambunctious, the world around me is full of idiots, the house is a particularly big mess, the weather is too hot or too cold, my bed won't let me sleep, everyone and everything makes me sad. I'm just fine.

In all seriousness, I have been contemplating getting on antidepressants for years. Two doctors have suggested it and I think about it a lot during my down times. My husband doesn't think I should be medicated because I crash a week before my period and come around when it's over with. He can track my cycle with more accuracy than any calender.

Not that all of my mental health issues are related to PMS, such as this current downward spiral I'm currently riding, but roughly half my life is miserable as a result.
