i have done that on occasion, and it is embarrassing.  But like you, i quickly correct my mistake - and i often add that i have brain damage and that's why i messed up! I might as well laugh about it. Sometimes it is funny, depending on what i say. Lol
i don't really know the diagnosis either, but i don't really care. There isn't anything i can do about it since it's brain damage and it' going to be with me forever.  The diagnosis isn't going to get rid of it, that's for sure. Lol
