Two weeks ago I had an appointment with my old pdoc. But last week I called to make an appointment with a new pdoc at the local psych hospital. (I decided to switch for a variety of reasons, but that's beside the point I guess.)

I had already set up an appointment with the old pdoc before I decided to switch. The appointment is currently set for July 18th.

The appointment with the new pdoc is set up for August 12th. I have plenty of refills for my meds to get me through and this is not an issue at all.

ALSO! My old pdoc and my former therapist are like legit friends. And I (quite passive aggressively) quit going to see my therapist with not much more than a message to the office machine. So I'm nervous about facing the old pdoc knowing that I kind of dissed his friend.

I also recognize that I'm overthinking it... but I can't help it. It's how I do.

Would you cancel the July 18th appointment and wait it out for the new appointment 4 weeks later? At the last pdoc appointment my meds were not adjusted other than the addition of PRN Trazodone for sleep.
