Take it a day at a time, and reward yourself for each day that you make it through without hurting yourself. Here's one idea - maybe it will work for you. You know those inexpensive plastic friendship bracelets? What if you get a bunch of those and give yourself one for every successful day. When you get ten of them (or whatever amount you want to set - maybe make it more each time) you can get yourself something nicer and start over. Or you can do something fun with a friend, or anything you can think of for a reward.
Of course, it only works if you are learning other ways to cope too. How can you work on that?
