I rock all the time but its not from pills its because of my autism. I also shake my leg up and down but that can be from pills but I'm not sure where that comes from. Rocking can be from schizophrenia as well? I didn't know that before. I rocked differently when I was a kid than I do now. Now I do the more traditional rocking that when people think of an autistic rocking. When I was first diagnosed with autism I rocked on the floor rather than going back and forth. As I get older my more autistic symptoms are coming back and I am regressing. There was awhile that I wasn't that autistic. When I was a kid it was bad. Then I got a miracle dog. I started talking for the first time. I even was in the newspaper because of it. I was less autistic and not even meeting the criteria anymore in the DSM 3. Oops I gave away my age! The DSM 3 was hard to get diagnosed. I would meet the criteria in the DSM 4. All my current docs think I am autistic but I think they are using the DSM 4, not the DSM 5. The DSM 5 is hard to get diagnosed but since I had it all my life (even though sometimes less serious because of the dog) and getting back before the dog but there is one criteria that I don't think I meet. I can talk back and forth to another person even though its weird things.
