It's tough, but sometime you have to keep trying. Depression tells us lies. It becomes really hard to figure out what is a lie and what isn't, when it's only us talking & listening.
At the top of this psychotherapy forum is a sticky post that covers the 10 common cognitive distortions. I think that is a good place to begin with changing how you think and talk to yourself.
IDK about "talking your way out of it" without a therapist or medicine to help, if it's medical depression, you may need one or both to help you recover.
