It does sound like a rollarcoaster ride. medication changes side effects...this sounds really hard to handle and I am sorry that some of your friends are not hanging in there for you.
Is there a local support group at the hospital or clinic that meets on a regular basis to gather some more support?
I found a support group for persons with mental health issues and it was very very halpful.
