I had on of my best days that I can remember yesterday. I cooked for two days. l had my mother, Nancy, my daughter Izzybelle and her husband James, Earl and my baby boy Brandon. I cooked a 19.5lb turkey that is gone.... no left overs for today. I told my kids old stories about our families heritage. T thinks this a good idea. My Native American background is very interesting. I was raised hearing the stories, at Thanksgiving and other family gatherings. We laughed and cried together it was wonderful. Nancy ate well, sat at the table and smiled. The kids said I look good for a old bird, too funny. My daughter and her husband gave me a new laptop, new to me but a year old. I feel blessed by yesterday. Just when you feel like giving up something changes you mind.
