How do I upload a digital photo to a friend's wall, a photo I took and saved on my laptop without an external link?

(((For example... I took a picture of flowers, saved it on my laptop. Log on to PC, go to friend's wall. When attempt to post, "Insert Image" icon requests external link.)))
