I've battled insomnia for a long, long time. Other than meds?
Other than watching my diet and exercise, not having caffeine, after a certain point in the day and making sure I get some sunlight, fresh air into my system?
I don't know. Trying to figure out what it is that keeps me up, or what it is that wakes me up in the middle of the night, so I can't go to sleep(those are usually dreams)...usually helps.
I do find, the Xanax is helping me, to feel more tired at night and ready to fall asleep. And I've still got my Ambien, on top of it all, for when I need it.
Stress in life, doesn't help insomnia. What does your doctor say, about yours?
