Yes, it is for sure. I have had this problem it's one of my SI problems, actually. I have become better about it now but as a teenager this was one of my main SI tactics.
I agree with Christina. My mood is much, much worse when I havent' been eating or when I need to eat. I also have less control at that time mood-wise. If you can't eat, stay hydrated at least and try things that have some calories in them like juice or milk. Otherwise, you're going to mess up your metabolism really bad. When you don't eat for a while your body causes your liver to produce glucose to keep you from starving. Do it too much, and your body thinks you're in a famine. Even later in life your body has trouble recovering from this type of thing.
