While it's no substitute for face time with another human, it is at least something.
There must be things that interest you ie. hobbies, something you've always wanted to try. Hell, if nothing else, library, museum, cinema, book club. Is there public transportation available?
I can sympathize with having difficulty in making friends. All through childhood I was alone and unable to connect with other kids. It hasn't gotten much better as an adult although I've learned a few tricks on how to better understand others there is still a disconnect. I want to make friends but experience has taught me that I suck at it and so I vacillate between wanting to and not wanting to. I don't know if your experiences have been anywhere near the same as mine. I'm just trying to relay that I understand loneliness and how difficult it can be to overcome it.
