I think I kind of understand. Showing affection or emotion towards others make people question why you feel the way you do and personally I feel people put me on the spot all the time and want me to justify my emotions.

Due to being overly self conscious showing any emotion or affection towards others is really hard because I don't want that attention or interaction I get for showing it yet at the same time I just want to feel human. Constant inner struggle.
