NJ, I just posted a response to a member of this forum who was feeling depressed after
the day's work, too. Look at that one for some ideas about how to get rid of the negative
things each day so that you are able to think positive thoughts.
It can be done and it's such a relief to be able to release negativity. In fact, negativity
is a loading for depression, so it's very important to keep it in subjection to our daily
thinking.
Go down the threads on this forum 'til you see "Need a Boost" by Heather. That may
have a couple of ideas on how to remove negative thinking. Psychiatrists need also
to tell people how to correct negative thinking, not just point it out to patients with
no directions on how to stop it.
