Ok, ya'll! I got dressed and all that stuff then went out to the back yard where my plants were calling me. Sat out there and watered them with my back to the sun. Sat out there long enough that all the old folks around here started coming out and were looking into the sky. The airplane carrying Reagan's body was due to touch down in a few minutes. Well, those of us that were outside hoping to catch a glimpse felt like fools when one of the neighbors came out and said the plane had already touched down.

So we all went in to watch it on TV. Dang it! I missed it again! One thing for sure, though! We could hear the canons going off so I guess I can tell my grandkids that when they're old enough to understand.
Now I've got a headache and I'm not sure if it's because my BP is up or because I blubbered like a fool watching Nancy Reagan. If I was here, I'd feel like jumping into the casket with my husband.

I sure hope I go before Jerry does!
