She didnt expect you to be so frugal and she may have been a little embarrassed by it, but it was nothing bad about you.
As for the funny posts, that is probably a common management training type request, to teach you what their standards are. If you want to be a leader in this group, yes you have to follow their rules.
As for repeating stuff - kids do mumble these days! My last couple of years at work were very unpleasant partly because I could not keep up with how fast and low the under-30 crowd spoke. But as an oldster I could also tell when they lacked confidence in what they were saying - that's when they mumbled the most. Dont let them get away with this clearly discriminatory behavior. Good luck and keep posting.

Thank you, I'm pretty sure I mentioned my hearing impairment in another post but maybe I didn't lol. And yeah, my lunch at the fast food restaurant was a total of 5 dollars, drink was about a dollar and the sandwich was four dollars, it wasn't that expensive compared to other places. Not sure if she was embarrassed but even if she was, I still don't think she needed to act the way she did, and yeah, if I do remain in the club, I will no longer let them get away with their behavior.
