Hi-

*Note-The earliest pdoc appointment I can obtain within a 30 mile radius of my house is January 2014. all other practices are not taking new patients.

Re-entered the search for psych meds as I KNOW I need them for my various diagnoses...it dawned on me...The GP and PA I recently saw were mentioning names ( especially the GP) very quickly, switching back & forth between the generic and name brand. I have a medical background and have tried several ADs before....It was like being in a candly store. There was very little guidance, especially when she started to mention the mood stabilzers & anti seizure meds.

Is this common? Not that I left w/the Rx I wanted to try...I left w/ a zoloft script for depression and trazodone for sleep. The PA faxed an RX of 7 tablets of Wellbutrin SR 100mg, instead of giving me a paper RX.

I wanted to try topomax, as I do experience killer migraines, I figured why not try something new? Maybe this will help both issues.

I guess I should compile a list of previously tried meds and their side effects and just hand it to the next prescriber I see.

I am glad to be on this site to research the meds.

Thanks.
