LOL @ FREEDOM CRACKERS!! I've been inpatient for about ten times in the last ten years, and that's about all they had overnight for me too.
If I may, coming from a Roman Catholic perspective, I recommend going to Mass and meeting people, or at least bringing some (free) holy water home.
Preserving the authentic Traditional Catholic Faith and Traditional Latin Mass: CMRI has some addresses and other information for churches around the USA. Their priests are great to talk to even if you aren't talking about the Faith, and at least two of them - and two nuns - have visited me inpatient before.
If it's not too hot or rainy in your area, taking a walk a few times a walk, if not daily, can also be a good idea. You can get away from your house with its stressors, say hello to the neighbors (hopefully they're nice), and get some exercise.
