That's an issue I have pondered, too. So, we send someone to a hospital and the person gets better, then we send the person back into the circumstances that drove him/her around the bend in the first place.

Without knowing what's happening in your environment, I can only suggest seeing a therapist. In one inpatient facility I am familiar with, a social worker talks to the patients to see what is happening and tries to help them have a better environment to go back into. If nothing else, then you could feel better talking about your frustations.

I agree with the other folks. Treat yourself to a good meal and try to be nice to yourself. I'm sorry the food at your facility wasn't good.
