I am sure its quite possible, but its not good. I hate when I get detatched feeling and numb...sometimes its like an effort to stay out of that like I'll literally feel detatched from my body and its like I'm holding on trying not to let go if that makes any sense. But sometimes things are too painful so I am sure its some kind of defense mechanism...I admit though I sometimes really cant take the stress or how I feel that feeling seems to be a better feeling alternative but at the same time its not since it can become more frequent.
I obviously try to alleviate the symptoms before it gets that bad, but its not always possible.
