Pat, his name is Mike.

Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers. He has already been to the Gulf twice while in the service. Hopefully he can take good care of himself in Afghanistan.

A friend who worked in Saudi Arabia several years ago said he had to sleep with his passport every night because people try to steal them so often.

Mike is doing this for the money. His wife has had to have several small surgeries in the past year or so and he got behind financially. He's always been a risk taker. Not easy for the anxiety prone mom when they do that!
