I have this happen as well. It has just recently gotten worse again into my 20s.(I used to have it younger as you mentioned) I have dreams that are so realistic I sometimes wake up really believing they happened and I cannot stop thinking about them throughout the day. I also have the deja vu or just dream like memories come up suddenly if I see an object or see something that brings me back to a random instance that causes like a mini-panic attack. It really is annoying!
