It was a very difficult experience physically and mentally. Today I feel exhausted and depressed. Almost numb emotionally. With all that I believe that what I experienced was a way for my body to release the memory of that trauma. I am not sure it won't happen again and that weighs on my mind. not sure what you mean... a dislocated jaw happens when the lower jaw is pulled or pushed out of the joint through chewing something that is too hard, or getting punched, hit, or pushing /pulling on it with your own hands...

basically what Im saying is that if you need to hold your jaw in to alignment so that it doesnt get dislocated well thats a physical/dental problem not a body memory problem. ....if this is what you mean I suggest contacting your dentist and other treatment providers to get the jaw X rayed and treated. there are excellent braces and other jaw aligning equipment that can hold your jaw in place until the muscles that hold the jaw into place can heal and do their job again..

a body memory problem with a past dislocated jaw would be feeling memory of the pain from the past dislocation, its not actually physically dislocating so it doesnt physically need to be held in place. it just feels like it needs this...if this is what you mean..what gives me comfort when feeling pain from past abuses/trauma's is lightly massaging the painful area. sometimes ice will trick my brain into realizing the pain is just a flashback (body memory), sometimes drinking warm tea's help me too.
