I didn't think I could love kids (in fact, I really didn't like kids at all) until I started working with kids. I spent a year working with the same kids and it's so amazing how bright these academically struggling kids are and how much they grew up, especially the Kinders height-wise. At the beginning of the year, they could barely reach up to grab the snacks on the counter, then they all shot up. And I loved getting to know all of their personalities. I miss my old job so much, I really had it good.
