having been a nanny for 20 years and running a pre school for 36 2-5 yr olds for a number of years too i now find children to be noisy little monsters with no manners or understanding on how to behave in public. i do not blame the kids though as you only have to look at the parents to see why the kids are the way they are. when i was young we were taught to behave, to respect that not everyone wanted to hear you , but it seems parents are too busy to teach manners anymore
