I frequently wear my hair short and don't wear make-up. Before I gained weight and grew a backside I used to get "hey fella" a lot. People have also questioned if I was gay for the same reasons. In school it wasn't questions, it was rude statements and they didn't say "gay."

I was thinking of this thread earlier today while I was doing some landscaping. I had on tennies, a sports bra and jeans shorts with a my hair pulled into a ponytail and a bandana around my head to soak up the sweat. When I started to burn I added a ratty looking frayed t-shirt. By the time I finished everything I had on was soaked with sweat and I wasd blacvk from head to toe with mud and dirt packed under my nails. The fu-fu police would've hauled me off if they saw me!

Me? I was tickled with the way the garden/yard looked when I got done.
