I found going to the local support group very helpful because listening to other peoples stories, I discovered that I wasn't alone. it was like, yeah, ive been there, ive done that, how did you cope? in fact, I just got off the phone with a friend I made at a support group I used to go to and weve stayed in touch. we go to dinner and the movies once a month now. we really bonded over our commonalities.
