Thanks for sharing Mitch, it's good to know you were able to get better. I struggle with bulimia. I really have to pay attention to the portions I put on my plate--they need to be reasonable--not too much and yet enough. My firm rule is that I never go back for seconds even if the first plate tasted really good. I think that--proportion size--has been a key element in me getting better. I also don't eat sweets such as cookies and donuts unless its just a small amount (and infrequent.) Fruits like fuji apples are sweet enough that they curb my desire to eat sweets....D.
