Being argumentative when things don't go one's way could very easily be situational and any number of things, or -most likely- perfectly normal when one is under a lot of stress. I think mania or mixed episode is a really big leap here.
To the OP, it sounds like you're under a great deal of stress; I hope you can find time for yourself, to do things you like to do, and that things will get better soon.
