Accepting where you are right now and setting boundaries sounds healthy to me - good on you. I've never been able to fight depression or anxiety - it always wins. The best I can do when I am in a bad place is ask for help (i.e. therapy) and slowly move toward where I would like to be. What you are doing actually sounds pretty healthy.
