Like Cristina said, my first group experience was inpatient. If that's all there was, I'd say screw that! But my T convinced me to try out a group setting outside of inpatient - that he ran, and it's been much different experience. People who legitimately want to be there and want to be more stable. I've liked it so far, and I think it's helped. It's not a bipolar group, by the way. It's an adolescents group.
