From what Ive read, many things can trigger depersonalization/ but I am not an expert on the topic and only a professional can answer these questions accurately.
I scored a 38, and have not been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder - I keep getting told I have depression. But then again, not many doctors are knowledgeable about the disorder.
You can go on YouTube, and type in "depersonalization" and a ton of videos will pop up.
maybe I can help clear up why depersonalization is classed with the dissociative disorders....it is because the symptoms that make up this disorder are dissociative symptoms...shutting down, numbing, feeling spacey, feeling detached from self, detached from surroundings, distorted sense of time, ...
