Yes, those are very difficult situations to deal with.....& stressful....a stress that isn't over shortly. The good thing at least was that your father had to spend time in prison to pay for his crime & he's registered now....& sure he can't come anywhere near you or anyone else now to be a danger.

Hopefully your son is going to rehab because he wants to in order to get through his addiction......one needs to have the nutrition it takes to have the strength to be supportive of him through this time also. I know that sometimes when our parents have problems that kids want to escape from, they can turn to drugs.......showing your strength could be something your son needs to see rather than giving in to your ED???? Just a thought.

I know how difficult stressful things can be on our eating issues....but sometimes we need to have the strength to put our life into perspective & see how it all works together & that helps give us the strength to get through it rather than allowing it to win.
