I tend to think that relationships are set up for a balance. If you are always giving giving giving, you will likely end up in a relationship with someone that is all too willing to take take take.

Maybe they didn't even start out that way. But in a way you train them up to be good takers.

Your self has great value. Don't forget that. It isn't fair to yourself to let people or relationships take advantage of you.

You could try making a schedule of your week on an hourly basis. And see how much of that time is devoted to your own PERSONAL goals and wants, other than to be loved. Surely you have a dream. What are your dreams? (besides being in a loving relationship)

You have to have a dream for yourself. Something to work for. Something to never give up on. What would it be? Find your life before you try to share it with someone else!
