Thank you both. My husband was talking with me about putting human feelings and traits on animals and I told him that to some extent we do that but animals are very aware of what you are communicating and how you are feeling. Animals have the ability to love unconditionally.They have the capcity to make you crazy eating cat candy or trash hunting.They also tellyou who they are and what they need. It is hard to know when is right to euthanize, that's why I speak with friends and ask the animal. I still have such a sense of resonsibility and grief for the animals I have had euthanized. But,it is so much better then a life of suffering.
