I've heard it described as Fight, Flight and/or Freeze ... I've found myself in this Freeze mode on more than one occasion ... Where I'm actually frozen on the spot and unable to move or speak ... It is quite frightening to experience that one, because if in immediate danger there is no fight or flight!
