I bought my husband socks for Christmas this last year He is overweight/pre-diabetic and needed "wider" socks and I found some he liked. But a month or so ago I got a discount coupon on a new store opening in our area and we did a trip out to it to buy more socks, LOL. It was a great combination of making sure he was cared for and just a fun outing (we had breakfast at the diner in the area that we knew about) and kind of showing him that even superman needs new socks occasionally too.
